
Jasmine Dixon, 2025
Jasmine was a dominating inside player at Long Beach Poly HS, despite being only 6-1, who led her HS team to three straight CIF Division I state titles with her scoring and rebounding, including 14 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists per game. She was a first team Parade and USA Women’s Basketball All-American, while being ‘Los Angeles Times’ Player of the Year. She was the CIF Division I-AA Player of the Year, and the 2008 California State Gatorade Player of the Year. She played in the 2008 McDonald’s All-American game. She won a bronze medal at the 2007 USA Youth Development Festival.
She first went to Rutgers, then transferred to UCLA where she was a three-time All-Pac-10 selection and HM All-American while being the leading scorer and rebounder, after overcoming a major leg injury. She is one of only a few players in Bruin history to have 30 points and 20 rebounds in a game. She was a Wooden and Naismith nominee. After finishing her playing career, Dixon has done coaching at Cerritos College.
