Sa’De’s career at Lynwood High School included every accolade and award a player could receive, including winning multiple CIF local, regional, state, and national championship honors. She was a multi-time All-American, California State Player of the Year twice, and in 2004 she was named ‘Parade Magazine’ National Player of the Year. She was a three-time CIF Player of the Year. A four-year Lynwood starter as a 5-9 guard, she led the team to a 119-7 record (.944 winning percentage), including a 33-0 mark as a sophomore, in route to claiming the state title and being named National Champions by ‘USA Today’ and ‘Student Sports.’

She had her choice of colleges, and selected to play for Pat Summitt at Tennessee. She went to the Final Four, but left and finished college at the University of Maryland where injuries kept her from a professional career (she made the home All-Tournament team as a junior, plus was a starter in the NCAA Tournament before having to medically redshirt as a senior). As an eighth grader, Sa’de was invited to attend Nike’s prestigious All-American Camp. She became the first middle-schooler—male or female—ever invited to attend. She is currently the San Diego Lincoln HS girls head coach and CEO of Hoop Blessings LLC, after previously coaching at Victory Academy in Chula Vista.
